Activities include our fun weekly seated exercise class, bingo, ‘arts and crafts’, various speakers and advice on issues facing the elderly, including health, welfare and legal advice. Some of our members are not able to make their own way here and we have secured funding to allow us to provide a taxi service where needed.
First Wednesday of every month 7:30pm
We get together to enjoy a programme of events, activities and guest speakers throughout the year.
We have an active membership of over 24 and we aim to have a programme that has something to interest everyone. Annual events include our Charity night, Summer outing and Birthday meal as well as church festival celebrations.
The Friends is a great group and new members can be sure of a warm welcome.
