Welcome to Rev'd Sarah Gill
The Lord Lieutenant of Durham, Sue Snowden, local dignitaries, clergy and church members came together at Woodhouse Close Church (Local Ecumenical Partnership), Bishop Auckland,on Sunday 21st June to witness the licensing and installation of Reverend Sarah Gill as Community Minister and Authorised Minister for the Methodist Church by the Right Revd Paul Butler, Bishop of Durham and Revd Keith Phipps, Methodist Superintendent of Darlington District.
Members also welcomed friends from Revd Sarah’s former Parish of St Paul’s, Shipley where she worked as a curate. After the service, the congregation enjoyed a faith tea.
